Ellie always wants to know what I'm doing - she loves to keep me company. When I put my makeup on in the morning she watches me in the mirror. And her current favourite spot in bed is where my pillow should be - right in the corner. Sometimes she even meows at me to make space for her there.

I feel loved :)

It had been over a week since I'd been at the gym - between work and my cold - it was rough to go back but I'm so glad I did. Sure is motivation to go regularly...

Lately I've been struck by how beautiful this area of campus is. I walk this route nearly every day I travel to work. The trees are numerous and large.

It's a blanket made of sock yarn - long term project by definition - takes some of the pressure off. Plus I get to use up every last bit of yarn and get it out of the stash. Feels good.

Despite me feeling a bit under the weather we went for an adventure yesterday to Kananaskis - it was a beautiful day and C. got me to be a little adventurous - I'm so glad we went and that I allowed him to convince me at least a little.

Note - I haven't posted in forever, the idea I'm trying out is to mimic Habit at least several times a week - who knows where it will lead
